I just had a customer who had customs sieze an order... A UK customs agent.. Here is the funny part...
This is from my client...
Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I got the letter a couple of days ago and it was titled: 'NOTICE OF SEIZURE FOR OFFENSIVE WEAPONS' from Home Office Uk Border Agency in London. The letter opens with:
'Dear Sir,
The following items: TWO STEALTH SELF DEFENSE WEAPONS. (my note here it says DEFENSE.. Not Offensive!)
Receieved from PETER BRUSSO, 73851 EAST PALM, NORTH SHORE, CA 92254, USA.
Also contained in the parcel: ONE ADVERTISING LEAFLET.
Are liable to forefiture on the grounds that:-
- They are offensive (my note here again.. It says DEFENSE not Offensive)... weapons imported into the United Kingdom contrary to the prohibition in force; or
- They were mixed, packed or found with prohibited/restricted goods; or
- They were not described accurately by the sender on a written declaration accompanying the parcel
They have accordingly been seized'.
It then goes onto say that I have a month to claim the item and this would in turn begin legal proceedings. It also mentions a list of law and sections that it could have fallen under. I ordered a Defender a month or two ago that arrived without any problems so I think that this parcel may have just been unlucky in getting through.

So, the moron who "seized" this parcel can't read I guess.. It says DEFENSE... The moron. But, wanting to do the right thing, I will not send any Offensive or Defensive tools to the common wealth countries. We might be able to offer a movie memorabilia version that isn't a weapon but just a part of the goats movie, sealed in plastic and you can hang on the wall, as this is what most want anyway... Something from the men who stare at goats movie.. We will keep everyone abreast of our intentions.
